Camp #1 focuses on reinforcement of basic functional skills and base training through an increasing volume of easy training throughout the weekend.  We will also have a “Goal Setting Strategies & Aspects” session Saturday evening.

Camp #2 focuses on strength and endurance training and provides participants with an understanding of a more aggressive approach through challenging, race specific training--right before the primary race season starts.  Racing and transition strategies will be included along with open water issues.

Both camps are going to give the participants a “jump” on the competition by focusing on training aspects well ahead of the time most others normally reach these training stages.  The camps are planned in conjunction with local events (such as the Wildflower Century that attracts over 3,500 participants yearly) to add a motivational kick.  We provide home-stays for out-of-town participants.
