New Co-Chair of Women's Commission

After a year of hard work and bringing exciting new ideas to the Women's Commission,  co-chair Susanna  Gaunt is stepping down from her position.  Ashley Rosilier has boldly agreed to take over as our new co-chair.  Ashley says she is "energized about the opportunity to reach new women with the message of what an empowering, life-changing sport triathlon can be".   Having worked at several of the Danskin races this year and noticing that of the thousands of women participating, there were only a handful of minorities, Ashley wants to focus on ways to make triathlon accessible to all women.

Ashley also wants to help more women prepare and train properly for the support. She says she she worked the finishers sweep in Austin and Seattle and was surprised byt the "large number of women at the back of the pack who were taking the giant step towards doing their first triathlon but were not at all prepared (they had done little to no training)".
While many of the women were ecstatic just to finish she noticed some dropped out. Ashley says "I'd love to find a way to reach those women so they are not blindsided on race day and so disheartened that leave the sport for good."
